Dr. Ryan Nickens, D.C.

Dr. Ryan Nickens, DC, holds a BS in Exercise Science & Chemistry, is a Certified Personal Trainer, and earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic – Florida in 2013. With over a decade of clinical experience, he has developed a strong foundation in chiropractic care, functional medicine, internal medicine, and integrative wellness. He has additional training with a certificate in Acupuncture, as well as advanced training in the DABCI (Diplomate of the American Board of Chiropractic Internists) program, further advancing his clinical expertise.

After graduating, Dr. Ryan opened a successful practice in Fort Myers, Florida, where he gained extensive experience in advanced spinal correction, scoliosis management, pediatrics, and lifestyle-based rehabilitation. His passion for education has led him to teach health and wellness programs at more than 20 churches and dozens of businesses and schools. He has also traveled to Rio with Team USA, supporting athlete care on an international stage.

Dr. Ryan has completed advanced training in Clinical Nutrition, Internal & Functional Medicine, Spinal Correction, Detoxification, Acupuncture, and Integrative Health. His approach focuses on identifying root causes and understanding how toxicity (including mold, parasites, heavy metals, and herbicides), nervous system imbalances, gut dysfunction, hormones, and lifestyle factors contribute to chronic health issues. He integrates evidence-based practices with a whole-person perspective to create clear, individualized, and effective care plans.

A core part of Dr. Ryan’s philosophy is honoring the body’s innate intelligence and natural healing capacity. He values strong patient relationships, deep listening, and offering clarity and hope throughout the healing journey. He also emphasizes reconnecting with nature—movement, sunlight, grounding, and natural rhythms—as essential pillars of lifelong wellness.
